Here are a few pictures from the last few weeks...

Christopher plays for the "Athletics" He usually plays 3rd base and does a great job. He gets a hit everytime he is at bat with the exception of one strike out. At this age they have machine pitch. He has done extremely well considering it is his first season to play baseball. It has been very tiring doing both soccer and b'ball. Soccer will be over next Saturday...yeah!
Lucy, our neighbor came over to help with egg decoration! She is one of 7 children.

We chose to marbelize the eggs instead of dying them. They turned out beautifully and looked artificial. This was a really fun way to decorate them. The handsome couple on Easter morning. Christopher didn't end up wearing the jacket but looked handsome just the same. Just look at those Rutledge ears! Thanks mom-mom
yeah, my hair looks a bit funny...it was windy!Calixto was up late practicing his mime, thus the puffy eyes! Some of it is allergies too! Cute picture of Father and daughter! Notice the unfinished landscaping in the background, I'm going to have to hire another landscaper to finish the job I guess!
On the hunt for eggs.Catherine's final bounty of eggs, it sure took long enough for her to find all of them! Pastor Candido's visit to Pastor Bo and Beth's house with the elders and their wives (and a few of the kids) Everyone tells me Beth (holding the baby) and I look like sisters. Or I hear that Deb (next to me in the blue shirt) and I look a lot alike, even her husband has mistaken me for his wife! What do you think?

Christopher you look very good in you baseball uniform..Very Handsome!
and the one at Easter is Great don't forget to send me one. And the ears came from my Great grandmother Rutledge not from me HAHA
Yeah! I think you should get another landscaper too the one you have is falling down on the job..he just leaves everything in pots. Or else he is just to busy to get to your job. He is just going to have to take one day to finish everything and move on HAHA

So, how do you marbelize eggs? Next year when Ellie can participate more, I think that can be a really fun activity! Christopher, you got some genes that were left out on me.....athletic ability! You look great and it looks like you have so much fun! I love Catherine's outfit too. They look great! (Becky)

we did the eggs with a kit like the kind you buy for dying them. At first we thought it was a little strange but in the end liked the way they looked. It was fun doing something a little different with them. They were a bit smelly though. Thanks to Mom-mom and Pop-pop for the Easter clothes. They bought them for Calixto's g'mother's funeral.
Christopher has strep throat and will miss a baseball game tonight. But hopefully he'll be ready for his game tomorrow and soccer on Saturday.

You all sure look like a "nice" and happy family. Pictures to cherish, that's for sure. Wow, you're so blessed. Thanks for putting them on the blog.
