Mimi

It seems as though Mimi's last days are upon us.
She is very dehydrated and is refusing to eat or drink. She has pretty much given up. Her only desire now is to be at home with the Lord!

Please pray for her physical comfort as well as the timing of everything. My parents are in Oklahoma, Uncle Earl and Aunt Donna are in Ohio and Uncle Tom will be going out of town as well.

"For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain...My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that
is far better."

Tracy and I went to see her tonight. She really looks bad and is pretty out of it. We spent some time talking to her and with uncle Tom. Pray for the Lord to be merciful and to not let this draw out to long. It is really hard to see her like that but She has had such a full good life. And hey she can tell Bruce hi from us.

We are all praying for a peaceful going home for Mimi, and that the Lord will take her quickly to be with Him as she so desires. She sure has had a full and blessed life... praise the Lord for that.

I can't help but think how blessed my life is as a result of Mimi & Pop Pop living for Jesus and raising their children to love and serve Him. I pray that we will follow the example set before us and be a blessing to our families.

I too am out of town. I am on a school trip to Chicago and will be returning Friday AM. Please keep us informed. Thanks for being their when we can't. I am praying for God's best for Mimi and us. We are so blessed to have grown up in a godly family. By their incredible faithfulness over a life time Poppop and Mimi have left a legacy. By God's grace alone we now are passing that same legacy on to their great-grandchildren. God is truly good all the time!

I'd like to reiterate what Tom Jr said, "thanks for being there when we can't!" She has truly lived a full life unto the Lord and i pray the Lord will take her home without any more pain. I praise the Lord that she does know Him and we can all have peace in our hearts that we know she is going to a much better place. She'll have her memory back and she be able to skip and do cartwheels or whatever she wants. But more importantly, she'll see Him and will be praising Him together with Pop pop and Bruce.
